Hello from one part of the Forster clan

Hello all,

It is great to be able to hook up like this. Congrats all around it sounds like everyone is doing great. I am up in Logan freezing, not so much that it is super cold but just the fact that me and Stephanie have returned from Mexico. We were there with the spanish club, there was 25 of us and that mostly meant it was just a big headache for me because I am the president. It was a great experience because we were able to do a great humanitarian project. We work with a foundation called save the children, or FAI fundacion de apoyo infantil. Anywas we helped a family of five, (mom and five children), the were running from an abusive father. They were living in a cardboard box type of home and we helped build a new adobe home. Which is great in this part of mexico because the temps reach up to over 110 degrees in the real heat of the summer. The adobe helps the cool stay in during the summer and stays warm in the winter. We also dug a hole more than 2.5 meters deep that will eventually become there bathroom. When were in Obregon we worked from monday to thursday and then went up to Guyamas and San Carlos. During our time in Guaymas I proposed to steph so now it's official. We are getting married on the 2 of june in the mt. timpanogus and having our reception in Ogden later that day in her grandparent's back yard. In San Carlos we went to the beach and got fried some people spent more than 6 hours there and came back so red it was hard to look at them. We had a lot of fun and really had a chance to connect with the family, it was so good to take a step back and become humbled again. It really is the closest thing that one can do to feel like you are on the mission again. Well I wish everyone well and for a parting thought I leave you all with a Vernellism, "eat more carne!"

Four Paintings Are In...

Hi Everyone,Yesterday I had a great day! I found out that 4 of my pieces of art made it into the show, none that you've seen, and this means I have a chance of winning some money! There were only 22 illustrations accepted, and four are mine! Cool huh? I worked really hard though. 10 hours on Saturday, plus countless others that I haven't added up!Also, I took a psychology test yesterday, and I got an A! Wow, I didn't think I could do it. The Lord really helped me out there. I think that is my first A test grade at BYU. Of course, I don't take very many as an artist! So anyway, if you want to come to this exhibit, let me know, and I will go with you! If you are here during conference time, you know, it would be a good time! If you can't make it now, I can post my work on my blog after April. Plus, in September or October, I will have my Senior Show! Thanks for all your love and support.JenniThis is a piece I did for a treasure hunt book. I don't know if it got published! I will have to find out.

Jazz Game

Hello, everyone Jared was in Dubois on a 40 foot tower and got a call from one of our vendors Electrical Wholesale. The VP called and said that the owner of E.W. couldn't go to the Jazz Game and asked if he wanted to go, they were on the 3rd row it was 3:00 in the afternoon and the game started at 7:00 that night. He told his employee that was down on the ground to start cleaning up and to hurry. The employee looked really worried like is something wrong. When Jared got down off the tower he told him and he was really relieved. He was already 45 min away from home and so he called and said if I could get a babysitter in 25 minutes then I could go with him. My friend called just as I was getting off the phone with Jared and we made it to the Jazz game only 30 minutes late it was a lot of fun. The tickets were $375.00 each. We were on TV too. Jana

Hello...

everybody how are you all doing?

Morgan's cat died and she was reminiscing about it. I told her that Grandpa Vernell was taking care of her cat for her in heaven. Morgan started laughing and said, "No, he isn't...Jesus is! It was pretty funny!

I haven't heard how your Oringdulphs are doing and Forsters are? Don't be afraid to give us a update on what has been going on!

We are doing great here at the Worthingtons...Austin is wrestling and he really likes it! He hasn't won many matches but he never gives up! Trey is doing good he is pretty mellow does cause many problems. Morgan is a great big help to her mom and always wants to hold Kenadee. Kenadee is know 7mo. and is starting to sit up, she is a joy to have. Dallen is working hard and is stress out! I'm busy being a mom and running around doing the usual laundry, dishes, house cleaning, church calling, and some haircutting etc. etc. I feel so busy. I check this blog everyday...but haven't heard how my marvelous cousins are doing. Go ahead give this blog thing a try...don't be shy! Tell what is going on at work, home, kids, church, sports etc.

I hope we can keep in contact and stay closer as a family. Help each other out if we can. I think that is what Grandpa and Grandma would want!:D

Hope you all have a great day!

Rachel
